A day in the life of my mother....
So I am new to this whole blog thing but i am gonna give it a shot if no one reads it oh well but here goes nothing....
Today my parents went to spokane to bring Tasha to her last step before she becomes a member of the USAF, which was very emotional for me but life will go on and it is only for 4 years right????
Well back to my day with the 6 children mom and dad leave and before my eyes stop "leaking" joey is whining because he wants to go feed the ducks right now because they are probably hungry now!!! well its 4:30 and i need to find something for dinner it looks like rain and there is a pile of dishes in the sink. Mariah wants to bake away her feelings so she is baking bannana bread (which she burnt) the door bell rings and tessa and zacks friends are outside who i felt to bad to send home so they can stay untill dinner.. well me and mariah discuss dinner( steak again or chicken???) mariah is still wanting to bake away her feelings so she said she will take care of dinner. The next minute Benny comes running in the door yellling "there is a cow in the yard" well no big deal i go to find nick who has spend 95% of the day down stairs playing away his feeling on X-box then after yelling down the stairs for him mariah informs me he went to school. great this means i get to go chase the dumb cow in to the field only problem with that is the cow is twice my size oh yeah did i mention i am scared of cows???? well i grab a big stick and hit the cow with it. BIG mistake the dumb thing starts charging me!!!!!! so i yell for Zack to come help me but to no avail we couldnt get the dumb thing in the stupid fence finally i call nick and beg him to come home and save us from the rabid cow! well he is at school and tells me he will be home in 20 minutes . what the heck am i sposed to do with the cow until then. well me trying to get the cow in the fence well trying to keep joey from running behind the thing and calm tessa down who is stuck on the swing set scared to get down because the cow will kill her if she does. Well 20 minutes later nick pulls in and it was seriously like it sensed the fact that he is home because before he even got out of the truck the cow is back in the fence. what a relief. well at this time mariah comes out side to tell me we are out of tortias and she already made chicken for the fajitas. so i run to the store get tortias come home dish up the little boys send the kids friends home and tell everyone it is time for dinner. well Benny the picky eater of the family is starving but cant eat his fajita because it has peppers onions and garlic so whatever i pick the chicken peppers out of his chicken. and joey starts crying because its to spicy and he hates spicy. well i ask him what he wants to eat and he says noffing... then he starts crying because he wants to go to walmart and get tasha a coming home present or to go feed the ducks... after i calm him down and tell him we will go somewhere tomorrow i tell the other kids it is time to clean up the dinner mess i head downstairs to take care of some wedding stuff and i hear fighting and screaming upstairs i think to my self whatever i am just going to ignore them. well 8:30 rolls around its time for baths and beds and i head upstairs to find that tessa thought it would be fun to fill easter eggs with dirt and joey thought it would be funner to fill a bucket with dirt and water and ice in the middle of the kitchen. so as frustrated as i am i try to keep my cool and just send the kids to bed well benny doesnt want to sleep in his bed and he cant go to bed because his hair is wet. joey is sick so i give him 1 1/2 tsp of benydril which i later find out is a double dose (well at least he is sleeping) after fighting benny for 45 minutes the overtired brat goes to sleep. i spent the next hour cleaning the kitchen and another hour cleaning the rest of the house the kids are asleep and i remeber they didnt do homework and i forgot laundry....
well after an eventful day like today i am starting to question my sanity and if i really really want 6 kids but hey everyone has a crazy day once in awhile right????
